Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. hello mommy . tight stool are scene frequently in infants and toddlers . Medicine like gylcerine suppository or any laxative should be avoided at this age . Water and fibres should be increased in kid's daily routine .

Give more water fruits vegetables protein rich diet
Maintain hydration
Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation
Try to keep head up position while feeding
Offer different varieties of food
Make meal time fun
