Q.

#AskTheExpert Have two questions for my 3.5 months old baby:- 1. Is it okay to change Vit D brand? We were earlier using Borvo D3 400 IU and now my husband bought D Sol 400 IU 2. Our pediatrician has suggested to give calcimax P suspension during recent visit (as baby initialy had low calcium). But noticed calcimax has 200 IU of Vit D. So would it be okay to give both calcimax and D Sol drops (as the total vit d intake will be 600 IU)?

A. you have to adjust the dosage of vitamin d and yes you can give up to 600 units per day also without any problem. also you can go for 0.5 ml of vitamin d and that will make it total of 400 units
