#AskTheExpert Hai Sri , my baby is not gaining weight an she is feeding for only few minutes an she start playing now she is entering into her 4 month What can I do for this

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom What is the weight of ur baby?? If ur baby is active and playful, passing out urine 6-8 times in a day then no need to worry about weight much. The weight should be around 5 kgs. Exclusive breastfeed ur baby till six months. Feed for longer time from one side so that baby gets both fore milk and Hind milk. Hind milk is rich in fat and thicker which will help in weight gain of the baby.
