#AskTheExpert gud mng doc my son is 1 yr old and he have the stomach issue for few days he has hard motion after that have loose motion due to this issue his weight is not gaining plz suggest wat to do

Author of questionGuardian of a 5 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Thanks for prompt response doc. will consult with his doc plz tell me one more thing as he love to eat chapati nd bread instead of khichdi daal nd dalia... so it is ok or i must keep him on liquid diet.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. may be any git inf. Diarrhoea may be symptom of any gastric infection . In this milk should be avoided as it is not digested well during loose motion . ORS should be given to baby to prevent any type of dehydration .

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is more than one year of age if the baby is having stomach issue it can be indigestion after infection For further help in this regard it is advisable to consult your local paediatrician for appropriate examination of the child and proper advice in this regard please see your local doctor once
