#AskTheExpert goodmorning doctor. My 4 month old baby’s heomoglobin is 11.1L. Please suggest what can I do if this hb count is low. She is on breastmilk only.

A. It is normal for babies who are on exclusive breast-feeding to have less hemoglobin, and it is advisable that you consult a pediatrician once before you start any medication, so that a basic investigation is done to find out if it is because of this only or something else
