#AskTheExpert Good morningmam, by son is not going to stools on daily basis. his age 1 month 14days and weight 4kg. mother feeding in fruits I am having Apple and in snacks time bun. breakfast daily idly. in lunch little rice and more curry

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. It’s okay and it’s normal in breast fed babies so if baby is comfortable then nothing to worry and keep feeding the baby well on regular intervals and burp after feeds

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Some babies pass stools once in four or five days while some pass even more than five times a day which are perfectly normal in breastfed babies. Touch and feel the baby's tummy. If it's hard or the baby is cranky or crying more than usual then u should consult with ur pediatrician. If not u can wait upto seven days. Try to avoid bun for snacks if possible.
