#AskTheExpert good morning sir my daughter is 3 years 7 month old but she can't take any nutritious food....she only want milk. approx 2 litre milk she feed in a day but can't take food fruits or any other item....her hemoglobin level is 7 , I am worried about her...please tell me how can I feed her nutritious food

A. Meat and Poultry These are great sources of heme iron, especially red meats and liver. Try to remove all the fatty parts of the meat before cooking, as they do not contain any iron. You should cook the meat well before feeding it to your baby. Else, it can be difficult for them to chew and digest easily. Furthermore, meat and poultry should be included in a baby’s diet only after he turns 8 months of age. Red Rice Excellent sources of non-heme iron-rich foods for infants, these varieties of rice might not appeal to your child if simply cooked. Try to add some flavour to it by stirring in vegetables, eggs, or meat depending on your food habits.
