Q.

#asktheexpert good morning sir my child having in lungs flum.doctor advised 5 days antibiotics.after the completion of course we done tests again small infection is there.again they suggested 3 days.is it any effect to baby health? pls suggest me

A. when there is infection and the doctor has advised antibiotics then the course needs to be completed and many times the courses given according to the level of infection so just follow the doctor and take regular follow up

A. Antibiotics are mostly given in the steam time when the normal medicines are not going to work so if your doctor is advising you to give it for three more days it’s completely fine the course of any medication is usually given for 3 to 5 to 7 days so now it’s again been given after five days or three days is good you can go ahead with what your doctor suggest
