Q.

#AskTheExpert Good Morning sir. I want to know if it is important to give formula milk to a new born or mother's milk should be sufficient. Also, is there a schedule to feed the baby or he/she develops it on his/her own?

A. Dear mum, avoid formula and exclusively breastfeed your child till 6 months complete. Breast milk is most nutritious and complete food for baby till 6 months. After birth, babies lose weight which they regain in 15 days time. Till baby regains the birth weight, feed baby every 2 hours and thereafter feed on demand.
