#AskTheExpert Good morning doctor My son who is 12 years old complains feeling feverish. However, the temp on the thermometer is within 98- 98.8. All his blood test reports have been normal. we got it done for typhoid, malaria and CBC. Any suggestions what could be the cause or what we should do next

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. The normal body temperature is 98.6 and even if there is 0.2 more that is 98.8 temperature then it is still taken as fever only.Is the fever coming only during the evenings? Is it associated with any sweat?Write Your Answer Here

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. cant say.Try to not miss on any medicine or its dose and take up lots of water and fluids on daily basis .Best will be to consult a doctor there as well who can practically see the patient and help to get a diagnosis
