#AskTheExpert Good morning doctor, My son is 6 years old. He is getting fever 101.2 temperature around midnight 2 (only midnight) , rest of the day he is very active and no fever at all. We are giving him paracetamol tonic. May I know the reason behind this. Thank you in advance.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi please measure the temperature repeatatively. because high fever indicates that a child is having an infection. so please keep your child well hydrated. dress your child lightly. keep your child in well vantileted room.
