#asktheexpert Good morning Doctor, My son has been having fever since Saturday and has been coughing. I have given him Ascoril LS and Levocetrizine syrups do I need to be concerned or am I doing the right thing.

A. Thank you for your reply it's very helpful though he has had a history of being nebulized and I do not want to nebulize him anymore. so I am worried about his coughing part as it is continuous.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give indirect steam to the baby. Also massage baby chest with lukewarm BabyHug mustard oil. You can alao rub kids Vaporub on kids clothes near chest area. Keep the baby warm at all times. You can also put saline drops in the nose of the baby. Pleae give honey in lukewarm water to the baby. Also give Patanjali Shavasari syrup in lukewarm water to the baby. you can also give turmeric milk to the baby. Thanks and take care
