#AskTheExpert Good morning doctor. My daughter of 6 years frequently have urine infection may be 15 days once..plz suggest me on this and what foods reduce infection

Hi mommy Give plenty of water Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment Take care of your baby Wash area often with lukewarm water Wash hands often before touching your baby Maintain hygiene Maintain hydration Stay hydrated healthy Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc

A. hi no,it is not normal. proper diagnose is needed in this. kindly visit your pediatrician and strictly follow your doctor's advice. at home ,if you are using diapers,stop using it . keep that area clean. use warm water only to Clean this. avoid using soap or any other cosmetics. always clean this part from front to back. Offer plenty of water to your child,it is important. Avoid giving spicy ,too much salty food items.
