#asktheexpert Good Morning doctor, My daughter is 5yrs 9months old, I can see some white spots on her cheeks, is it something to worry about ?

A. White spots on the body and face could be some fungal infection or some conditions like pityriasis Alba which is aggravated by drynfgness of the skin it needs proper clinical evaluation by the doctor. Proper mousturisation of skin is very important and maintain a good hygiene .

A. Milia are tiny, white lumps that can appear on the faces of newborn babies, as well as those of young children and adults. They usually don't need treatment as they are harmless and usually go away by themselves
