#AskTheExpert Good Morning Doctor my baby is 4 months old and she's not gaining weight since am going to office we started giving her formula but now am planning to feed her is it ok to feed breast milk and formula as well.

A. Don't know about any medication.. Please take Pediatrician advise for same asap.

A. Thank u so much. but since I stopped breast feeding now am not getting milk is there any medication to increase breast milk

A. Breast feed your baby for atleast 6 months. As the nutrients baby gets from breast milk can't be same as formula. Even if you are working you can pump extra milk. The more you feed the more your breast produces milk and your baby will gain weight and be stronger. I would suggest please don't stop breastfeeding your little one.

A. Thank u so much. Birth weight was 1.8 kg And now she's 3.3kgs But since I stopped feeding her in last 2 months there's no lactation is there any tablet to increase breast milk or lactation.

Hello ma’am Atleast you should have mentioned the current weight and Birth weight of your child for a better understanding but would just like to tell you that if your child gains somewhere on 500 g to 1 KG every month and that’s good and yeah it is fine if you have to resume your job and you want to switch to formula and breast feed both then it is fine no issues
