# Asktheexpert Good Morning Doctor jst wanna ask as my son is of 6 month old so I have statred solid food but will you please tell me how much quantity minimum should i give ?? he finishes 1/2 of the quantity with minimum spitting of cook (with 2 tablespoon of desired ingredient and ratio is 1:4)

A. Usually kids can eat about 15 to 22 teaspoons of food whatever you’re offering because it’s comfortable for them because 15 to 20 teaspoons is somewhere around 60 ML of food that you give which is decent enough for them to consume in one go and with the progressing age as your child learns to accept the taste and food that you give the appetite is going to get better
