#AskTheExpert good morning doctor, I have a 1 month old baby, my milk is not sufficient to the baby. Can I feed lactogen infant milk formula to the baby or is there any side effects regarding health.?

baby is passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, is alert and active and gaining at least 500 grams per month then the milk supply is sufficient.
More the baby is breastfed more will be the milk production. so ensure that the baby is only exclusively breastfed. don't give outside formula
Check for good latch, correct position while feeding
Have lot of fluids and water
Be confident.

consume a well balanced diet for enough milk production.
foods like Methi, green leafy vegetables, Dill leaves or shepu, tree gum or Gond, saunth Garden cress seeds, garlic intake
can help milk supply
