#asktheexpert Good afternoon Dr, my baby is 22 days old today. He has been feeding close to 90ml milk per feed. His weight is 3.7 as of today. Birth weight was 3.25. is the quantity sufficient or should we increase/decrease the volume?

A. hello dear the weight of the child increases by approximately 500 grams each month to 6 months of age the quantity of feed will totally depends on the acceptance and tolerance of the child feed the baby at a gap of two hours

A. the quantity is fine.. if the pee count of baby around 6-8times and the baby is sleeping well then baby is getting sufficient feed.. babies at a month will take around 60-90ml of milk.. take care..
