From the time the baby is born, there is no hair on this part of the head.(please refer pic).
But, it's been a little red there since last night.
There is also a slight swelling.
The baby has no pain when touched there.

A. some swelling is seen. don't panic may be some kind of skin rashes.consult with your doctor.

A. do not worry baby will be getting the hair back soon and the area also apply coconut oil at present Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination if required there is need for appropriate investigations also in this regard o k

it might happen because of insect bite or Infection
you can gently rub coconut oil there.
and please visit your pediatrician for once.
