Q.

#AskTheExpert for how many years,shall I continue giving iron and just D to my baby? He is 15 months old now and taking all varieties of food.

A. if the child is able to take food which is rich in iron that is green leafy vegetables and other diet as well as the child is able to go out in sunlight for at least half an hour daily then you can stop both iron supplements and vitamin d

A. it is usually advisable to be given only till completion of one year of age however if and only if your doctor has advised to continue because of some deficiency then you should continue it for the advised period else 1 year is maximum
