Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. as food for the baby you can give all kind of seasonal fruits and vegetables. you can give Apple everyday .can also give mango , pomegranate,papaya and banana according to the season and requirement . avoid giving banana excessively and daily otherwise it may cause constipation. you can also give rice preparations oatmeals curd preparationsband daliya. it will be better if you are able to give dairy products daily apart from milk. refrigerated and packed foods shuhould be avoided, junk foods should also be avoided. if you will give excessive of milk to the child the hunger may get satisfied by that and the child may not be interested in having other variety of food. over all you need to see that you are giving a balanced diet to your child with proper fulfillment of nutritional and energy requirements according to the age
POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. Whenever introducing semi solid foods in baby's diet, start slow with 4-6 spoons per serving and twice a day. You can feed lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, carrot and pear puree, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, ragi and sooji porridge, home made cerelac, etc. Feed 1 food at a time for straight 3 days to observe how well baby is able to digest it.
