Q.

#AskTheExpert Dr. my daughter is 3 months old and her weight is 5 kgs. Is she underweight? People around me said this. What parameters can I have to check the growth of my child?

A. Dear parent, weight of 5 kg is normal for 3 months old baby, do not worry. If baby is active, playful, achieving all growth milestones, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, gaining adequate weight at least 500 grams per month, then it indicates good health.
