#asktheexpert Dr my baby is six months old and for the past two days she is coughing at sleep during night..what can be reason ,and recommend a remedy.

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 6 months old now it could be due to exposure to cold air or smoke or dust causing allergy and reactive cough or can be due to reflux of feeds causing choking and cough

Hi Only coughing in the night then maybe there is something wrong with the pillow or something that you are using just make sure that there is no dust when your child is sleeping because certain times that also can create a little bit of coughing other than that if that’s not the reason then consult your doctor ones
