#AskTheExpert does dental infection effect the delivery of the baby ? I m currently 9 months pregnant

A. No, not as such, you can consult with your dentist for proper treatment and medications accordingly. And it does not effect to your baby or delivery process anyhow. have regular follow up with your doctor

A. Infection – A deep cavity that leads to an abscess can affect not only your health, but that of the baby, especially if the pain is severe enough to cause significant stress. Also, the inflammation and resulting fever can cause stress in the growing fetus.
