Until six months you can only breastfeed the baby. while breastfeeding, you can feed longer from one side, so that the baby will get the hind milk which comes later and has higher fat content than the foremilk which comes first. Make sure the baby is getting enough sleep. New born can sleep around sixteen to seventeen hours per day. Morning sleep will be for seven to eight hours split up into three or four naps. Night sleep can be around ten hours which again could be split up as u have to feed every two to three hours
