#AskTheExpert Doctor my child is 1month 24 days old & he spits & vomit (sometimes forcefully) after every feeding. Iam giving him domways drops but it's of no use to him. Plz guide me in this matter.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist5 years agoA. It could happen because of not burping the baby after every feeding or due to over feeding the baby also. This time give gap a 5 to 10 minutes during the feed itself so that the baby can consume and relax for a while and then feed again. After the baby finishes make sure that your burp for sure. Don’t force if the baby is not feeding.Write Your Answer Here

Author of questionMom of a 5 yr 4 m old boy5 years agoA. @Dr. Shahiba Anjum ma'am i make him burp everytime after feeding but sometimes he doesn't take burps but now I'll keep that in mind to keep 5-10 minutes gap in between feed. thanks.

Hi parent please don't get panic about this matter because spitting is very common and normal in young child please always feed your child in tilted position and keep in up ward position after every feed please give daily massage on stomach area in clockwise direction with coconut oil
