#asktheexpert Doctor, can we give gripe water to new born baby. ? My baby vomits whenever she is awake. she is one month old.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. not advisable to give gripe water to children because they contain large amount of sugar as well as bicarbonate which is very harmful and in the future can cause metabolic problems in the child

No colicaid Is a good option for Gas issue and colic issue to the child gripe water is the worst kind of thing that you can ever give to the child so don’t give that and also if your child is beating up that’s considered completely normal for that there is no medicine that you need to give
