#asktheexpert Dhyara (20 months old ) kabhi kabhi vaginal area me itching karti hai but mene check kia to sab thik hai but sab thik lag raha hai n yes many times vo underwear nikal k ghumti hai just want to know is it ok ya sirf ek habit hai ye?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. put cotton garment. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child

Just check two things is your child having discomfort while the underwear is on or it’s in gendered because sometimes we don’t realise that the child could be having infection in the area even though you have checked so I would suggest you to clean it with a mild antiseptic liquid and apply coconut oil or Boroline and see if that helps
