#AskTheExpert Dentist suggesting full body anesthesia and OT procedure for 3 year old kid. is it safe?

A. my son was advised to undergo dental treatment for his broken teeth when he was 1.5 yrs old. it was supposed to be done under GA. thanks to the pandemic and a good pedodontist, we have been able to manage without the GA procedure. he's now 3 yrs old n we got his filling done on the dental chair itself. we plan to get one of his teeth extracted under local anesthesia sooner. go for a second opinion, u might end up getting a good pedodontist like us.

A. good morning it is definitely not the best option if it is completely unavoidable because of any injury that is a different matter otherwise definitely if it can be postponed I would recommend you to postpone at
