Q.

#asktheexpert Dear Dr, My baby girl is 4 months and 7 days old. She's having slightly hard stool (clay like consistency) since past few days and is passing stool every alternate day. Also she has not passed stool since Tuesday. She's on exclusive BF. What may be the cause

A. hello...change ur diet and drink ajwain warm water all day...It happens to most babies....nothing to worry about until baby is happy and active and feeding...Infants older than eight weeks often go 4 or 5 days without a dirty diaper, and it doesn't mean they are constipated... breastfed babies, especially if they have not started solid foods, can easily go two weeks without a poopy diaper once they are 2-3 months old...
