Maitri ChaturvediMom of a 9 yr 2 m old boy5 years agoA. that's cradle cap dear. don't worry about it. it goes off on it's own. just take good care of your child's scalp and hair. wash hair with MamaEarth shampoo for babies and after drying apply MamaEarth hair oil for babies. it's very nice and beneficial and has no harmful ingredients.

Dr Rashmi SriramMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl5 years agoA. This is dandruff in baby. It is called as cradle. It is common at this age due to transfer of maternal harmones. Apply coconut oil followed by gentle cleansing with a baby shampoo. It settles with age and there is nothing extra required

Jasmine Shiny DsouzaMom of a 7 yr 6 m old boy5 years agoA. hi mom. cradle cap usually clears by its own in few months. keep the scalp area clean. gently massage the baby's scalp by the fingers to loosen the scales. then lightly and gently brush your baby's hair to further loosen the scales by using a soft brush. do not forcibly remove it. you can apply pure oil all such as coconut oil almond oil or olive oil. if the scalp area is red in colour and looks like infection then please consult a pediatrician.
