#asktheexpert currently I am in 8 months postpartum, and breast feeding. I didn't get my periods, do I need to consult a gynecologist or it's nothing to worry

A. no need to consult at present .Periods after delivery may occur anytime in between one year and may remain irregular for a few months no medication is needed for that you just need to maintain good nutrition along with adequate water intake and use proper contraceptive method to avoid unwanted pregnancy

A. No need a woman can resume with it period any time after delivery could be a month could be two months could be two years also but all these things are natural for a woman you will resume your periods when your body is ready for it
