#AskTheExpert Could you please advise how can eyes boogers in babies be cured? My baby gets eyes discharge which is slightly white or yellowish in colour within every 5 minutes. Thank you

ExpertDr Prerna PatelObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. you need to clean the eyes with warm cotton soaked piece.in new borm it is seen .dont worry if persistent may need to out eye drop .consult child specialist first amd start the treatmwbt

Generally discharge in eyes is common as babies sleep throughout the day after waking up if you feel that baby having frequent discharge from eyes not only after waking in day time too then consult Paeditrician or ENT specialist about this. Wipe baby eyes with soft muslin cloth to clean.
