Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if requirevdd .

I I’d advise you to give Darbar Honitus to the child 2.5 ML2 times in a day for three days it is one of the best and the safest Ayurvedic medicines that you can go for apart from that if you want to go ahead with any medicine then you should be consulting your paediatrician also you can give indirect steam to the child and if needed you can nebulise the child as well
