Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child
you can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decreasing both cough andd cold
continue the regular diet of the child
if there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor
for fever andx pain give paracetamol.
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. You can give nebulisation to the child with saline water that usually helps a lot in reducing down the congestion and cough to a child so I’m going to advise you to do this and also you should consult your doctor for further precautions and medication
