#AskTheExpert children sometimes vomit medicine and dont complete the prescribed dose of anti biotics will this make the bacteria immune? will that anti biotic not work next time ? what should be done? this is an issue as children dont co operate while taking medicine

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. you should know that a proper dose is needed to be completed by the antibiotic or else it will be useless so if baby vomits immediately after taking the medicine then you can give it again

Yes , it's normal and they don't cooperate.
Don't worry no need to give it again..
I would suggest to opt for homeopathic remedies as anti biotics are not advised to be used for long
