It is fine to add a pinch of salt in baby's food to enhance the taste along with little bit of turmeric, but avoid any type of artificial sugar or sweet food items as it is not good for still to emerge teeth and overall growth and development. In fact, avoid sugar till atleast 2 years and add more natural sources like dates, raisins, etc.
