ExpertDr. Gunjan BawejaPaediatrician5 years agoA. hello vitamin D has nothing to do with constipation. now at this age start to give him lot of fiber as fruits and vegetables and offer water in between to avoid constipation.

Author of questionMom of a 6 yr 1 m old girl5 years agoA. thank you for the response doctor. but I have observed when ever we start Vitamin D 3 medicine she doesn't poops the whole day .. usually she does 3-4 times a day. also she is having 2 fruits and 2veggies meal every day

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl5 years agoA. hi yes,it can cause. so, please keep Breastfeeding your child as per his or her needs. keep your child well hydrated. offer fiber rich food like palak Puree,prune juice and fruits like pear , banana etc to your child which helps to make digestion easy. give massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands move your child's legs in cycling motion. it will help to ease bowel movements.
