#asktheexpert can milk and bananas leads constipation?my baby is 15 months old,she is having constipation , kindly tel me, should I stop giving her bastmilk too?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. milk is known to cause constipation to avoid milk for few days and then see Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Specially give papaya banana oats fennel seeds water it will help in decreasing constipation and even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool
