#asktheexpert can ibuprofen and paracetamol suspension be used for fever??

A. Hello, your baby boy is 12 months old and if he is having a fever then you can give him syrup ibugesic plus 3.5 ml three times a day and frequent breast feeding

A. it is advisable to use only Paracetamol for fever and the combination is usually avoided until and unless the child is having severe pain. also if after giving Paracetamol there is no improvement in 2 hours then only it is advisable to give syrup Ibuprofen and that also after medical consultation
