A. It's generally recommended to wait until your baby is at least 12 months old before introducing cow's milk as a main drink. Before this age, breast milk or formula provides the necessary nutrients for your baby’s growth and development, as cow’s milk lacks the right balance of nutrients and can be difficult for their digestive system to process. Cow's milk also doesn’t provide enough iron, which is essential for infants. After 12 months, you can start offering whole cow's milk, but make sure it's part of a balanced diet that includes solid foods. If you have concerns or your baby has a history of milk allergies, it’s best to consult your pediatrician.
