#asktheexpert can i give honey to my 5 months old baby?

A. no, do not give. because honey can, very occasionally, contain a spore of a bacterium called clostridium botulinum. This can cause a rare form of food poisoning to ur baby. tc

A. Nope Honey is not given to the child before the age of one year it’s completely restricted because if you give it then it can actually create infection in the tummy of your child which is why it’s absolutely a big no no before the age of one year
