ExpertRamya RamachandranNutritionist3 years agoA. Dream feeding is fine but if the baby is just born then you may want to wake your baby and hold well for a better latch. Place him/her on your breast.

Dear ma’am, as long as the baby’s head, shoulder and bottom are well supported and latched well onto breast it’s fine to feed in side lying down position. Because even if you sit and feed, baby is anyway going to be in the lying down position only. But make sure latch is good and also burp your baby after the feed and hold in your shoulder for few minutes.
