#Asktheexpert Can a 5 month old baby have night terrors? My baby was awake all day I tried to make him sleep but no results. At the night he slept on his regular time but suddenly started crying loudly in high pitched voice and was sobbing. Was he overtired or terrified or having night terrors?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. if the child is crying at this age it can be due to either teething pain or it might be a part of colic pain due to some digestion problem or it might be due to nasal blockage or some body pain which might be initiation of a viral fever also.
also look for fever, oral ulcer, insect bite or skinrash and allergy.
you have to treat according to the findings so better to visit a doctor.
the symptoms you have mentioned are possible
