#AskTheExpert Body temperature of my child is between 98-99 from last 15 days. I consulted with doctor and even after taking lots of medicines and antibiotics it's between 97-98.5°. Doctors are saying it's normal temperature for babies. Is it true?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. it is ok. Temperature more than 99 is fever and if it is more than 99 on 3 episode the. Give paracetamol to baby up to 4 times in a day . It may be any viral . And if remains more than 2 days then consult a doctor .

shreya goelMom of a 7 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello mom Yes when babies temperature is less than 99° then it is considered as normal temperature and you should not worry about it at all. You should always try to keep your baby normal room temperature and don’t change the temperature of surroundings frequently. Feed your baby properly for babies overall growth. Happy parenting
