#AskTheExpert baby is taking iron supplement drops and his poop is drak greenish and yellow I also saw some dark brown specs in it . is it normal. please see picture baby boy 4.5 months old . on exclusive breastfeeding.

Iron is necessary for healthy red blood cells and the transport of oxygen around the body. But it can cause green poop, too. If you're giving your infant a daily iron supplement under a doctor's guidance, it can also cause a green tint to their stools.
