A. It’s okay, take your time — your concern is valid. For a 3-month-old baby who hasn’t passed motion for 8 days and is gassy, it's best to consult a pediatrician immediately before giving any medicine. However, some doctors commonly prescribe simethicone drops (like Colicaid or Bonnisan) for gas relief in infants, but only under medical advice. You can also try gently massaging the baby’s tummy, giving bicycle leg movements, or doing a warm compress on the belly to help release gas naturally. Keep a close watch, and reach out to a doctor as soon as you're ready.
