1. Keep Baby Hydrated
✅ Give ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) if motions are watery.
✅ Offer coconut water, buttermilk, and plain water to prevent dehydration.
✅ Continue breastfeeding or formula if applicable.
2. Diet to Control Loose Motions
✅ BRAT Diet – Banana, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast.
✅ Moong Dal Khichdi – Light and easy to digest.
✅ Mashed Potato & Carrot Soup – Helps bind stools.
✅ Curd/Yogurt – Restores gut bacteria and helps digestion.
3. Foods to Avoid
❌ Juices, sweets, milk (except curd), fried, and spicy foods.
4. When to See a Doctor?
⚠️ If motions continue for more than 3 days.
⚠️ Signs of dehydration – Dry lips, fewer wet diapers, sunken eyes.
⚠️ Fever above 102°F or blood in stools.
