#asktheexpert Baby is 40 days old. earlier he used to drink milk for 30-40min and sleep for 3hr but now he drinks for 15 min and sleeps 1- 1.30 at a stretch. is this normal ? Also how to calm the baby when it cries for too long in night??

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. ok fr there is lot of individual variation in the sleeping pattern of small babies before coming to your particular sleeping pattern if baby is otherwise active do not worry about the sleep cycle in the bab

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 5 m old girl2 years agoA. You can give 30-60 ml. Feed frequently. Sometimes yeah babies are fussy.. It's quite normal in newborns .That's how they function. It's not a concern. After few months they will start to follow a sleep routine. Follow a sleep pattern ensure to put your baby to sleep at the same time every day. Feed a little more during night hours for good sleep.
