Q.
#AskTheExpert Baby is 1 month old. Facing the below issue since 2 days. Baby is asking for feed continously n when the feed is not given, cries like it pains him. Could this be gastric. Burping is being done after every feed. What to do when the baby has gastric issues or acid reflux. Thanks veru much in advance.

Neha KiranGuardian of a 4 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. I was suggest for colic aid drops for baby and burping is advised after each feed . Some babies takes time to burp like my baby use to take 15-20 mins for burping

yes , mostly the reason is colic.
please offer small and frequent feeds.
yes , burping is important so it must be done .
give massage to your child daily.
give massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands.
move your child legs in cycling motions,it will help to prevent and cure stomach problems.
if child is crying inconsolably then apply paste of hing with warm water around navel of your child or give colicaid drops.
